Product description
A tree. A sign. Your decision.
Sometimes all it takes is a simple gesture to set something bigger in motion. By sponsoring a tree with Growing Karma , you're not just giving something back to nature—you're making a silent yet powerful statement. As part of our "Grow Your Karma" project, we'll plant a tree in Brandenburg in your name. No subscription required. Simple, honest, and effective.
Why sponsorship is more important than ever
Did you know that only a tiny fraction—about 2%—of Germany's forests are truly left to nature? Despite growing environmental awareness, actual progress in protecting our forests remains stubbornly slow. Therefore, taking action through tree sponsorship is not just symbolic, but necessary. By getting involved, you close the gap where more comprehensive measures fall short and help restore and protect vital ecosystems.
In short, sponsoring a tree is a direct, practical way to support the future – both for our landscapes and for future generations.
How trees protect water – nature’s own reservoir
But trees do much more than just purify the air. Think of them as silent guardians of the water cycle. Their roots, trunks, and leaves work together like a natural reservoir: They absorb rainwater, store moisture, and slowly release it back into the environment. This constant cycle keeps the soil cool and moist—even on hot summer days.
Under their canopy, the soil is protected from harsh sunlight and stays moist longer. This not only supports healthy soil life but also helps rainwater gently seep into the earth, thus recharging our precious groundwater. In short, every tree helps create a safety net of vital freshwater – to the benefit of you, local wildlife, and the entire ecosystem.
Why a tree can change so much
Every tree is nature's small powerhouse. It binds CO₂, produces oxygen, and creates habitats for countless species. Its roots protect the soil, its crown filters the air. By choosing this sponsorship, you are actively supporting the fight against climate change – regionally, visibly, and right on your doorstep.
A duration that suits you
Your sponsorship can grow for just a single year—or continue for many years. It's entirely up to you. Whether you want to make your impact visible for a special occasion or make a lasting statement—you decide how long your tree will remain as your living statement.
Your contribution to a healthier climate
Whether as a gift, a personal choice, or part of a more conscious lifestyle – your tree doesn't grow just anywhere, but here: in Brandenburg soil, under the German sky. You're helping to clean the air, prevent erosion, and preserve biodiversity. Every single tree counts. And yours bears your name in the best possible way.
Visit your tree – anytime, any season
Would you like to see your lasting impact? You are welcome to visit your sponsored tree as it grows and changes throughout the year. Whether it's the fresh green of spring, the golden hues of autumn, or a tranquil winter landscape—your tree is always waiting for you, right here in Brandenburg. Bring a friend, take a photo, or simply take a quiet moment to appreciate your tree's development.
Clear, transparent, unique
This sponsorship is a one-time payment – no subscription, no hidden costs. We will plant your tree, maintain it, and integrate it into a growing network of regenerative forests. What do you get? Not a certificate for your desk, but a real contribution to tomorrow.
Which trees can you sponsor?
When selecting your tree, we value importance and regionality. You have the option of either
- A fruit tree – one of the valued, traditional varieties native to our region.
- A deciduous tree – carefully selected, 3 to 5 years old, perfectly suited to the special landscape of Brandenburg.
Both options are designed for sustainability and are designed to strengthen local ecosystems. Your tree isn't just for today—it will grow for generations to come.
Looking beyond the forest
Are you thinking about supporting more than just trees? You're not alone—many nature lovers want to make a difference in diverse habitats. If colorful wildflower meadows appeal to you, you can expand your positive impact by supporting a meadow, too. Extending your support means providing a home for pollinators, adding splashes of color to the landscape, and fostering even greater biodiversity. Every sponsorship, whether for a woodland or a wildflower meadow, lays the foundation for a richer, healthier environment.
