Its slow growth promotes a concentrated aroma that unfolds immediately upon first brew. The Wannong 85, on the other hand, is robust, versatile, and provides excellent leaf material for green tea or slightly oxidized oolong styles. Both plants were specifically selected for cooler climates and cope well with the wind, rain, and soil conditions of Central Europe.
